Support Engineers
The successful candidate(s) will be experienced IT professional(s) who will join a highly qualified, results oriented team involved in the development, of Vector’s Office and Shipboard marine management systems
Job Description
• Ability to understand and learn complex workflow based business processes required in the implementation of ERP systems.
• Ability to work with tracking and tutoring systems, in an environment requiring a high degree of documentation and logging.
• Ability to test application and coordinate with development team.
• Train office and seagoing personnel
• Ability to troubleshoot and support including phone support.
Qualifications Required
Degree in Computer Science or other relevant discipline.
• Experience with SQL language and Oracle RDBMS is essential, while experience with Citrix and VMware Infrastructure, will be an asset.
• Good communication and presentation skills and excellent command of the English language.
• Proactive thinking and ability to work under pressure, understanding that shipping never stops.
• Self motivation
• Team spirit
• Willing to travel abroad
• Fulfilled military obligations (for men)
Remuneration:
• Above market rate salary plus bonuses structure
